A great day in East Texas

I had a great day on the water in East Texas Saturday enjoying God’s creation with my favorite fishing partner, my wife! We didn’t catch big numbers of fish but most of the fish we caught were chunks! (by we, I mean mostly her!) I caught the smallest and she caught the big ones. The top fish was 1# 13 oz! I tried a few different color patterns, but she stayed with the “Sun Kissed” pattern. That has been our best color the last two weekends in a row so we have added it to the lineup. Another good color was the “Sunset Shad” in our 2” crappie slayer. It is very similar to the “Sun Kissed”.
